The café is situated in the building of the fortress “Bastion” in the historical part of Ivano-Frankivsk. Main peculiarity of “Milk&Pink”is the part of the defensive wall of Stanislav Fortress 1662, which was integrated into the interior of the building. Project was made by designer Mykhailo Samoriz.
Our task was to make an invisible effect of the window case, which shouldn’t drive attention from the main peculiarity of the café. And we accomplished that, and properly having used mullion-transom facade system Alutech F-50.Hard-tempered monoglass 12mm, and two-chamber energy saving glass units with hard-tempered and triplez glass made similar visual effect and provided the necessary micro-climate and safety in the building.
Through panoramic windows the ruins of the defensive wall XVII c. are seen well, that gives an opportunity to the guests of the Yougorteria to feel the spirit of the past.
